Filtration
Water Filtration Plant is used for many different purposes: Pretreatment prior to other water treatment, circulation water, water recovery, boiler water, cooling water, and wastewater.
Pressure Sand Filter(PSF):
Pressure Sand Filter, which is especially demanded for removal of suspended solids & undissolved impurities. These impurities are generally heavy metals and dust particles. The pressure sand filter is highly suitable for the systems with high sediment, silt, sand, and turbidity. Our innovative design ensures the maximum utilization of the surface area, lesser pressure drop across the pressure bed and effective elimination of the impurities. Pressure sand filters: Removal of suspended solids and turbidity.
Activated Carbon Filter(ACF):
An activated carbon filter removes free chlorine, chloramines, chlorine dioxide, phenols, organic solvents, and pesticides. Recently, the application area of carbon filtration has widened in various industries, breweries, waterworks and wastewater treatment. It plays a crucial part in the process of removing pesticides in drinking water.
An activated carbon filter (ACF) works on the principle of adsorption; filter medium adsorbs or reacts with a pollutant molecules then filtered water is drained out. Activated carbon which is used as medium to remove contaminants is natural material derived from coconut shell, lignite, bituminous coal etc.
Cartridge Filter(ACF):
A cartridge filter is a piece of tubular filtration equipment that can be used across various industries for an array of filtration requirements. A cartridge is encased within a housing or a casing and used to remove unwanted particles, pollutants, and chemicals from liquids. The cartridge is exposed to water, liquid or solvent that needs filtration, as it flows inside the housing and passes through the filter element. Cartridge filters can also remove submicron particulates.
Iron Removal Filter (IRF):
The Iron Removal Filters are designed to remove the Excess Iron content present in the feed water with minimum pressure drop. Iron removal plants can be based on different filtration media, depending on the iron and manganese concentration, the oxygen level, CO2 content and hardness of the water. In this, air is injected in order to oxidize the iron, where the oxidized iron will then precipitate on a sand filter. The MnO2 layer in the sand bed will catalyze the oxidation of residual iron followed by backwash done by water and by air.
For low Iron content in feed water, the Filter consists of Manganese Zeolite, where the iron is oxidized to insoluble hydrated oxides that are removed by the mechanical filtering action of the Zeolite bed.
Dual Media Filter (DMF):
The Dual Media Filter utilizes combination of Filter Media and Anthracite for higher flow rates with a smaller footprint. High filtration velocities are achieved by proper selection of Media, and designing of Distribution and collection systems. These filters are offered in Mild Steel, FRP or SS construction with face piping and associated Valves.
Organic matter, turbidity, and several other types of impurities can be removed by dual media filters. They may or may not remove the dissolved solids completely, but there is a sure reduction in the concentration of solids because water softens after filtration.
